The Morris Plains club meets on Fridays at the VFW building on the 53 in Morris Plains. The first New Jersey club to chose breakfast as their meeting time and the gong rings at 7:47( natch!).
Morris Plains Is Chartered
The 52nd Club in District 747 is the Rotary Club of Morris Plains. They were chartered on December 17, 1973. They will celebrate their Charter Night on Saturday, March 2, 1974 at Neil's New Yorker, Route 46, in Mountain Lakes, All District Rotarians and their Rotary Anns are invited to this festive occasion which will be an historic event for the members of the new Morris Plains Club.
The Dutch Treat Cocktail hour starts at 7 PM and Dinner is at 8PM. The cost is $10.00 per person. Dancing later. All Clubs will want to be represented to welcome this new group of Rotarians into District 27. See your Club President for further details.
